“In a city of black and white, a rebellious young con artist, Ebon Gearlock, finds home in the alleyways, where the illegal trading of colour is unregulated and sprawling.”
The city of Nocshire is ruled by a tyrannous monarch, Lady Monochrome. The walls of the city have risen from centuries past, rendering no escape for the citizens within, but it was only until the Lady's reign that the concept of colour was abolished.
It was fun to incorporate modelling in blender into my concept art workflow! It was an interesting experience to try to combine the qualities of art deco with the features of Victorian gothic architecture to deliver a convincing design of the royal residence of Lady Monochrome. Adorned with a tower that stretches beyond the clouds, I wanted the palace to be a sight to behold, comparable to one of the seven wonders of the world!
Buried in the heart of the tower of Nocshire palace, the council room is a valiantly large hall where Lady Monochrome and her councillors gather to discuss about the affairs of the Nocshirean authority.
The roundtable sits dormant at the centre of the room, adorned with a centrepiece that stretches towards the ceilings, it keeps an ancient secret concealed within its deepest chambers.
